Chi Sigma Omega Chapter will continue to have an impact within the community. We will execute our programs by working SMART. We will be Strategic in planning while executing Measurable actions, which will lead to Attainable goals that will be Relevant and Transferable locally. As we execute our programs, we will ensure there is Awareness, Advocacy & Action.
Awareness - We will ensure the attentiveness of our target areas to the issues that have long term and far reaching effects on our community. Some of these issues include the importance of providing leadership development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation and character building to middle school girls; the health disparities of diseases which disproportionately affect women and minorities; the need to encourage energy efficiency, conservation, eco-living; global poverty; home ownership, estate planning, female owned businesses; and human trafficking and domestic violence.
Advocacy - We will promote the need to address the aforementioned issues by working with legislators, educators, families and businesses to further escalate the impact on the community and develop localized plans to offer resolution through our schools and governmental agencies.
Action - We are committed to execute programs that deliver positive impact to the community. We will host fairs, forums, and screenings in the community to promote our international programs objectives. We encourage your support of our programs and activities by attending our public events.
Committed to Excellence,
Romelda Jordan
