Greetings from our President!

As the 8th President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Chi Sigma Omega Chapter, I am honored to welcome you to our website. Chi Sigma Omega has served the far western suburbs of the Chicagoland area since our chartering on December 5, 2004. For the past 18 years we have continued to positively impact those in the Bolingbrook, Aurora, Naperville, Romeoville, Oswego, Plainfield and surrounding areas. We have and will continue to strive to meet the diverse needs of our community through engaging and empowering programs and events throughout our communities.

Chi Sigma Omega joins over 1000 chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in providing “Service to All Mankind”. Using the International theme of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” as a guide, we will continue to execute programs that:

       • Empower Our Families
       • Build Our Economic Wealth
       • Enhance Our Environment
       • Advocate for Social Justice
       • Uplift Our Local Community

Our chapter is comprised of a dynamic group of resilient and resourceful women. Each mentored to lead and encouraged to serve. All steadfast in upholding the vision and mission our founders cultivated in 1908. We are a group of educators, administrators, engineers, accountants, lawyers, business owners, and other professionals whom ages span generations. We work tirelessly to create and maintain a culture of community where all sisters are welcome, valued, respected, heard, and encouraged to serve.
